My husband and I had fun trying to answer the questions posed with the numbers. I am This is a great picture book for Maple Leaf fans. The illustrations were a cross between photographs and computer generated graphics that were colourful (a lot of blue and white) and detailed. The fun facts stumped my husband, an avid Leaf's fan. Obviously not every number from 1 to 100 is represented in this book, but there are several along the way coupled with Maple Leaf trivia. This is a great picture book for Maple Leaf fans. I think a lot of Leafs fans will be grabbing this book to read to their children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews. Lots of bright colours -especially noticeable is the classic blue and white of the team - coupled with both a little rhyming verse about the number as well as an accompanying piece of trivia that directly relates to the number as well. This book is quite the celebration of all things Maple Leafs - all aimed specifically at young readers. I was probably expecting a little less than I got so I was quite taken with this book from the very first page. This book captures the spirit of "Canada's game." 1, 2, 3 Cheers for the Toronto Maple Leafs! is destined to become a classic that will be handed down from generation to generation.
